LASH EXTENSION AFTERCARE

We have eyelash extension maintenance appointments available for clients to book. We suggest every 2 weeks for a 45 minute appointment and every 3 weeks for a 60 minute appointment.

  1. Do not steam your face, use a sauna, or swim for at least 48 hours after your service.

  2. Do not rub your eyes or lashes when washing your face.

  3. Use an oil free cleanser when washing your face and gently pat lashes after cleansing. Ask about our eyelash extension safe cleansers

  4. Do NOT use OIL based products, mascara remover, lash curlers, or waterproof mascara on your lash extensions.

  5. Keep in mind that natural skin oils can also shorten the life of your eyelash extensions. Ask about our products to help eliminate those!

  6. Fun Fact: Your natural eyelashes have an approximate 100 day life span. When a natural lash sheds, it is replaced with the growth of a new eyelash.

    Common reasons why lashes fall off

    1. Natural lash shedding

    2. Excessive rubbing

    3. Exposure to heat or steam too frequently

    4. Improper care

 

Volume Lashes are also known as the Russian Lashes. They are revolutionary based on the technique that is used when placing the eyelash extensions on. There are typically 2-6 fine eyelash extensions applied to one single natural lash, creating a look so soft and full it seems to be enhanced by Photoshop!

  • You can brush your lashes as needed with the eyelash brush that is given to you after your appointment.

  • To cleanse your lashes and eyelids, you can use fingertips, micro tip wands or silicone rounds/wedges. We recommend avoiding the use cotton.

  • Do not brush while your lashes are wet. We recommend that you wait until they are dry to brush. Blot with paper towel (recommended) or tissue.

  • Sleep on your back or side with your lashes off the pillow.

  • Never use mascara on Volume lashes! This will result in them clumping!  

VOLUME LASH AFTERCARE

The great thing about a Lash Lift is that it is a very low maintenance procedure however, there is a little extra care required over the first
24- 48 hrs. These services are water, sweat and smudge proof!

  1. Be gentle with your lashes; no rubbing.

  2. Do not get your lashes wet for the first 24 hrs.

  3. Do not use harsh products on your eyes/lashes.

  4. Please contact Miss Knockout for removal appointment of Lashcara.

  5. Use of Sauna/Steam is possible after 24 hours, but may weaken the effect of the lift.

  6. No eye make up for 24 hours.

  7. Swimming should be avoided for at least 24hrs.

  8. No other facial beauty treatments for 24hrs.

  9. Use recommended lash conditioner like Talika Eyelash Conditioning Cream to keep lashes hydrated.

  10. These services are not for women who are pregnant.

If your service included Lashcara, Instructions:

Lashcara is brush on Semi-Permanent mascara coating. The coating provides a “mascara-look” but without the mess. Same as the Lash Lift, this service has very low maintenance. With proper care the product lasts for 2-4 weeks. Application by a trained professional only. See us in 1.5-2 weeks for a removal or a reapplication. Do not pick your Lashcara off, as you could potentially pull off your natural lashes.

Henna Brow Tint

Henna tinting helps to make eyebrows more expressive, disguising gaps in plucked or receding eyebrows and the spa-care makes it possible to achieve a maximum result from tinting, it makes the effect from the treatment last longer as well as strengthens and protects the hairs and skin. To Take care to maintain your henna as long as possible.

Avoid chlorine, salt water, dish soap, bleach, other cleaning materials, and any other harsh chemicals. You can bathe and shower as usual. Avoid hand sanitizer – it is the #1 thing that unintentionally kills henna stains FAST. Acetone nail polish remover has also been known to fade henna stains more quickly.

Henna Spa DOES NOT CONTAIN lead or ammonia and DOES NOT REQUIRE hydrogen peroxide.

Brow Lamination

Brow Lamination is a brow perming treatment that involves correcting a brow shape by changing the position of the hairs. This treatment can be used to tame unruly brows or fill in gaps in thinning brows to give you the glam Full Brow look. This service can be paired with a Brow Shaping and Brow Tint.

Do not get wet for 24 hours. This includes: showers, facial exfoliations, steam rooms and heavy workouts that cause sweat.

  1. If you experience eye irritation, eye pain, eye itching, discomfort and, in rare cases, eye infection or blurriness, Contact the technician and consult a physician.

  2. Do not wear contacts for 24 hours after service.
